Convert CSV to OFX (How-to guide for Nationwide and all banks)

Here are some links to help you convert your CSV files from Nationwide internet banking into OFX files, for use with Microsoft Money, Wesabe or any financial software that supports the OFX format.:

  • Wesabe user Ed has created a webpage that converts your files into an OFX format - you can visit the service if you’re online
  • Many commenters are using the MT2OFX software to convert the CSV files to OFX. I’ve not personally used it but there are many people reporting success.

Try iCreateOFX Basic from http://icreateofx.co.uk/Convert-CSV-to-OFX
It can convert Nationwide and many other banks’ downloaded CSV files to OFX. In addition, it can convert and banking / creditcard QIF file to OFX and CSV and any OFX file to CSV (if that is what you require).

All round, its a good program that the author regularly updates with new banks’ and creditcards’ scripts.
